A world of stuff - and some of it’s really cool

So we’ve been working hard to find items to add to our site. It’s actually a lot of work, but lots of fun and very rewarding. We’ve got over 225 items listed now, but hundreds more to add. Just to give an idea, not only do we source the items, we then clean and/or repair, then photograph, then typically research, then list the items. That’s all before we communicate with you, dear customer, then we package, post and ship. whew. Who knew fun was so much hard work. It’s actually been great during Covid and we’re not sure we would’ve started without the extra time at home.

We are truly excited about the future. We just added several new pieces of furniture, some very desirable die-cast toy cars, and a few other items. Looking forward product-wise, we have a bunch of vintage men’s ties, some vintage ladies hat boxes, and several pieces of really nice vintage furniture we will add this month. After that, who knows, but for sure, we have a lot to keep us busy.

We were really excited to list our Lusterware cat statuettes recently. There’s a huge history behind Oriental Lusterware dating back thousands of years. While our cats aren’t quite that old, they are definitely vintage, but also really cool. It took some time for us to learn about these—as one may imagine, the web is replete with information on cats and cat decor, but not much on ours. We hope you enjoy a peek at them.
